The point of time during the day you allow yourself to take a day off rather than complete your assigned tasks would exchange your boss's perception regarding your behavior.
Today I learn a precious lesson, it's not really mysterious things of nature because I apply this into my working practice daily, but today I know it in an academic and more theoretically - being visible in the most important time, that time when people need you the most.
It is obvious that why some people may lose trust immediately once they cannot commit to their pre-determined deadline without any reasonable excuses, yeah, I know how poor liar they are.
